Veeda’s promoters Binoy Gardi and Apurva Shah respectively are still involved in the family charitable Trust .
Social activities undertaken by the family charitable trusts include building of schools, Community Health Centres, a Medical College, Technical Schools, Pharmacy College, Nursing College, providing self-employment in villages and the rehabilitation of destitute. One of their joint initiatives has also been to set-up and run two 500 bed hospitals in India’s largest state – Madya Pradhesh , India. Both hospitals offer free healthcare and medicines. The Trust has also built over 400 schools in and around the villages of India. Both Binoy and Apurva are passionate about both charitable activities involved in education and health and believe that clinical research can also benefit the poor of India by allowing them access to medicines and medical treatment which would not otherwise be possible. They both live by the philosophy of Not “Live and let live” but “Live and HELP to live” |
