Veeda Clinical Research’s Laboratory services has added another powerful tool to
its bespoke immunochemistry and biomarker services – the Automated “CD” based
nanotechnology platform from Gyros called the Gyrolab. This is a high-capacity,
low sample and reagent volume system that can improve many immunoassay methods
and solve the problems encountered with limited or scarce biological fluid
sample volume. It also offers advantages in the amount of antibody required for
analytical methods to support drug development projects.
Veeda has a mature laboratory service
headed by recognised industry expert John Allinson, who has over 35 years
experience in the field of Biomarker analysis, and managed by John Chappell – an
immunochemist with 15 years experience in drug development. The group based in
Oxford UK, already has a wide range of analytical platforms and scientific
knowledge and experience, and have chosen the Gyrolab to add to these and
complement the already flexible and comprehensive service offering.
Our Laboratory services are designed
to meet the needs of clients requiring immunochemistry assays to support PK,
Immunogenicity and Biomarker analysis. We offer a team with an understanding of
not only the science but also the client’s expectations in managing what are
often complex pieces of a drug development project.
In order to meet these needs, our
laboratory services have developed over a number of years to ensure that we have
the right mix of staff and equipment to enable us to deliver first class
services in this complex field. The inter-disciplinary scientific collaboration
we insist upon internally extrapolates to that with our clients, working in
close and constant communication throughout the critical phases of technology
transfer or development. Clinical & biomedical scientists, physical and immuno-chemists
working together to deliver all your analytical requirements.
